Butterflies have been a popular motif historically in art and design, perhaps for their fleeting beauty and fragility, and watercolour is the perfect medium to explore their iridescent wings. In this session we’ll be studying butterflies & moths and observing their wide range of patterns and textures - their symmetry allows for repetition and practicing techniques. Wet on wet is one of my favourite techniques and lends itself to moving pigments around to illustrate their kaleidoscopic hues.\nJoin Zoom 15 minutes early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and class participants!
