Chromexcel leather was developed a century ago and it was made specifically for boots. It’s a high-quality leather, hot-stuffed with oils and waxes, making it highly weather-resistant. You can wear these boots in rain or snow, and they’ll hold up beautifully. Chromexcel leather is also exceptionally soft, allowing for a quick and comfortable break-in period.\nConstruction\nThe construction of our boots follows the time-tested method of Goodyear welting, which dates back over 100 years. With Goodyear welting, the space inside the sole is filled with hot cork after stitching, which allows it to mold to your foot, creating a custom, comfortable fit. Goodyear-welted boots are rare in today’s market because the method is costly and time-consuming, but it's the best for construction and we wanted to craft the best pair of boots.\nOur boots also feature a Dainite sole, a heritage sole known for its exceptional quality. It offers the performance of a rugged work boot without an overly rugged look.\nPortugal \nWe’re producing our boots in Portugal, where footwear craftsmanship has been honed over centuries. Many of the bootmakers are fourth and fifth generation artisans, working with machines that are over 100 years old. Ultimately, if we were going to make a boot like this, the only concern is that we're doing it at a place that can do the best job.
