Alongside her husband Eddy and their family, she manages El Cielo, a small farm in the mountains of Chiapas.\nDuglas is a member of Café Delas, a program created to support women coffee producers through education, technical assistance, and direct financial premiums. The program helps ensure women receive recognition and compensation for their contributions while building long-term sustainability for their farms and communities.\nFor Duglas, coffee farming represents both opportunity and pride. She believes that the care and attention women bring to coffee production play an important role in creating outstanding quality from seed to cup.\n \nStory\nEvery harvest, Duglas and her family carefully handpick only the ripest coffee cherries.
