She is currently teaching theater at Bennington College.\n \nABOUT TEAM HEART\nWhen strep throat is left untreated, it can develop into rheumatic heart disease (RHD). In sub-Saharan Africa, where strep throat largely goes untreated, it has led to an estimated 275,000 premature deaths occurring each year. Unfortunately, RHD continues to take young lives, and in Rwanda alone, there are more than 40,000 teens and young adults with undiagnosed RHD.
