Students should come prepared with prior wheel experience and the ability to center at least three pounds of clay.\nWhat to Expect:Day 1: Introduction to Project 8/17Planning our your dinnerware set, with a focus on centering large and maintaining consistent, even walls. \nDay 2: Project continuation 8/20Demo #2 and continuation of project.\nDay 3: Trimming & Finishing Touches 8/24Focus on trimming techniques, foot styles, and surface preparation.\nDay 4: Glazing 8/27Wrap up with glaze demos and application techniques to highlight your work. Learn strategies for layering, and finishing your work as well as glazing large work.\nBy the end of this intensive, you should walk away with experience in throwing large and refined your skills in consistency.\nAnd the fine print:\n\nWhile this class is geared towards intermediate students, everyone is welcome.\nOur beautiful studio has just about everything you need, except for a simple set of pottery tools.
