Keith the owner was the master at creating kits for those interested in more complex pedals and making them DIY, soon I was off designing, modifying, and creating classic circuits.\nThis got me enthused and excited about guitar circuits, more than you can imagine and now BYOC is no longer, I feel that offering something DIY ourselves is a good idea and may inspire those that like to dabble with solder.\nWhat is Fuzz Remains:\nFuzz remains is an entirely new circuit that was going to be a fuzz octave, we didn’t like the octave as designed so removed it leaving on the fuzz remaining, hence the name.\nThe fuzz is thick, syrupy and easy to play, the perfect first fuzz. It’s not fussy and its simple in design, ideal for DIY.\nBUILD MANUAL\nWhat’s included in the kit:\n Custom designed purple sparkle 125B enclosure, predrilled and ready to go\n\nPCB (both the board, footswitch and practice board)\npractice resistors\n\nResistors\n\nCapacitors\n\nDiodes\n\nPots\n\nLED\n\nFootswitch\n\nJacks\n\nWire\n\nSome solder\n\nWe have 25 kits good to ship ASAP, once this number is breached, I’ll move them to preorder only and they will ship in by end Jan 2026.\nWe will also offer a ThorpyFx Build version of the Fuzz remains, this will be a offered in a Thorpy Enclosure and will be delivered as a fully working pedal, the art on this will echo the same art on the DIY enclosure.
