The company was originally a Chinese herbal apothecary and later began supplying dyeing supplies.\n\n\nThe Watchcap:\nThe product that has made us famous. Working with our non-profit partner in the Finger Lakes area of New York, we use a Syracuse-made Tompkins circular knitting machine to create a beautiful half-cardigan knit fabric we cut and sew here in New York City ourselves to create these vibrantly colored hats that are 100% made in New York State from start to finish. \nContent:\n85% upcycled cotton 15% RPET\nWhat is upcycled cotton yarn? This yarn is a blend of reclaimed cotton fibers from discarded garment scraps combined with a small amount of nylon made from the incredible RPET process of recycling plastic (PET) bottles into nylon fiber. Through a proprietary scrap fabric color matching system, there are no dyes or chemicals used in the process of creating such vibrant colors from what would otherwise be textile waste.
