{"type":"firestarter.listing","listing":{"id":"lst_aKJVYw3V","product_name":"SOLANUM DULCAMARA - Highlighter - Multipurpose (Eye/Cheek/Face/Lip Safe)","category":null,"description":"\n\nSolanum dulcamara, a highlight powder you can use all over your face, or to multipurpose on the eyes or lips. From the Halloween 2015 Fatalis collection.\n\nThis is a pale violet, glowing highlighter with a lustrous green iridescence. This shade has a glowing finish, it is not sparkly. Shown moderate application over bare skin in main swatch grid panel, and applied over NYX cream eye base in skintone, in the top right hand corner.\n\n\nSolanum - from the Latin, solamen, meaning to solace or comfort, while dulcamara means \"bittersweet\". Solanum dulcamara, also known as bittersweet, bittersweet nightshade, bitter nightshade, blue bindweed,Amara Dulcis, climbing nightshade, fellenwort, felonwood, poisonberry, poisonflower, scarlet berry, snakeberry, trailing bittersweet, trailing nightshade, violet bloom, or woody nightshade, is a species of vine in the potato genus Solanum, family Solanaceae. It is native to Europe and Asia, and widely naturalised elsewhere, including North America, where it is an invasive problem weed. Although this is not the same plant as deadly nightshade or belladonna (an uncommon and extremely poisonous plant), bittersweet nightshade is somewhat poisonous and has caused loss of livestock and pet poisoning and, more rarely, sickness and even death in children who have eaten the berries. Fortunately, bittersweet nightshade has a strong, unpleasant odor, so most animals will avoid it, and poisonings from this plant are not very frequent. The entire plant contains solanine, the same toxin found in green potatoes and other members of the nightshade family, and it also contains a glycoside called dulcamarine, similar in structure and effects to atropine, one of the toxins found in deadly nightshade. The toxin amount varies with soil, light, climate and growth stage. Ripe fruits are generally less toxic than the leaves and unripe berries, but even ripe berries can be poisonous.
