The blades disperse grounds laterally and evenly, reducing the channelling that comes from clumping or uneven settling. An anti-static coating on the tool surface prevents grounds from adhering between doses.\nFour Blades, One Consistent Puck\nThe NCD uses four uniquely angled blades to move coffee through the basket rather than pressing it in. The result is a puck with a level, evenly distributed bed that gives water a consistent path from first contact to last.
