Just remove the stock shift lever, tunnel tube, and forward rod then bolt our shifter right on. Simple and easy install. Nothing required but a few common use tools and red Loctite, although a lift is recommended. The position change in the cabin is no different in the longer throw setting, our shifter will sit and is angled exactly like the stock shifter. In the shorter throw setting, it will sit 1/2\" taller than the stock shifter. Also, a plug and play with the Golden Rod or stock shift rod.\nPatented Adjustable Throw: Throw reduction of up to 40% (equivalent to 1.1” reduction for each gear). This provides short and crisp throws. No more long and sloppy throws. There is also a longer throw option at 33% reduction on the shift lever, so it is interchangeable based on preference.
