


These cups were thrown a potter’s wheel one at a time by Lees Summit-based studio potter, Louis Reilly. The coarse, iron-rich stoneware clay is visible on the bottom third of the piece. A teadust glaze was using naturally occurring domestic materials and wood ash from a woodfired pizza oven.
