I started this painting originally by painting the background with acrylic paint first and then hand cut each flower and leaf out of fabric. After I glued them onto the painting, I used acrylic paint to add the details. I started painting this in 2003 but didn't actually finish it until 2010. I painted the background 3 times in different colors until I was satisfied, after the flowers were already there.. It was a challenge but I just kept at it until it felt right...Anyway I signed it 2003, and
